I can't say it wasn't eventful towards the end but for the most part I was very calm and relaxed. The ambulancemen were hysterical though. I had a midwife with me on the way to hospital and everytime i shut my eyes to concentrate on a contraction and 'do' my hypnobirthing, one or the other of the ambulance staff would say to her very loudly 'gosh, she's quiet this one - are you sure it isn't just indigestion?!' or something equally 'hilarious'. The woman was in more discomfort than me I think!
